General FunctionÂ A Customer Service Representative (CSR) if the first point of contact for many of our customers and is responsible for greeting the customer and assisting them with reservations and providing detailed information on all Prince William Sound Glacier Cruises , Alaska Heritage Tours products, and local visitor services.Â A CSR will work over the telephone and on the computerized reservation system taking reservations, processing tickets, general office duties and participating in retail sales.Â CSR will also support the vessels including line handling, food and gift stocking, and accurate and timely communications updates. All CSRâ€™s must be team oriented and be able to handle multiple tasks.
Â Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)Â 1.Â Â Â Provide accurate information about tours and the local area to guests in person and on the phone.2.Â Â Â Learn and become proficient in process of accurately booking reservations onÂ computer based reservation system.3.Â Â Â Participate in retail sales including inventory, stocking, and selling 4.Â Â Â Become familiar with the local and state natural history, attractions, and visitor services.5.Â Â Â Maintain positive interactions with customers and co-workers.Â 6.Â Â Â Be responsible for daily accounting reports and balanced till at the end of each shift, this includes reconciling manifests and the collection and proper processing of vouchers.7.Â Â Â Work the Marine Operations and Transportation staff to ensure on time vessel departures. 8.Â Â Â Support the vessel including line handling upon departure and arrivals, pull ordered inventory for food and gift items to be delivered to the vessel, communicate timely and accurate passenger count updates via company radio.9.Â Â Â Strive to see that all of our customerâ€™s expectation are exceeded
