Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital located 350 miles inside the Arctic Circle in Barrow, Alaska, is looking for a Medical Technologist to work in a culturally diverse community of 4700 people. Come

Brief Summary:
Performs a wide range of clinical laboratory procedures for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and assists the Laboratory Manager with quality assessment and instrument maintenance activities.

Baccalaureate degree, successful completion of a Medical Technology program that is accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), or equivalent training, education, and experience as defined CLIA 88 to perform high complexity testing.
2. Minimum of two (2) years generalist work experience in high complexity hospital testing to include microbiology and transfusion services.
3. ASCP certification or equivalent nationally recognized Medical Technology certification.

Starting salary of $29.61-$32.03/hr with a 4% increase in six months and annually based on performance
