Required Education Level:
(ARRT). Three (3) year of experience in the field of radiology, prefer
NATURE OF WORK: Responsible for providing diagnostic radiology services to patients.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and basic physics. Knowledge of radiation exposure and protection standards, devices and techniques. Knowledge of 1974 Privacy Act is required as use of patient record is an integral part of the position. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to perform job with minimum supervision. Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: SCF programs are established for the purpose of serving a primary population comprised of Alaska Natives who are affiliated with the Cook Inlet Region Inc. (CIRI), and Alaska Natives and American Indians within SCFâ€™s geographical service area. Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Three (3) year of experience in the field of radiology, preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty.
