Work Location & Schedule:Anchorage, AKThis is a regular exempt Anchorage-based position on an urban schedule of a 40-hour week or 9/80-work schedule.  Employees who work an urban schedule are required to live in the Anchorage area.  Relocation benefits may apply.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must meet or exceed these minimum job requirements to apply for this position. §          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  Additional related experience may be substituted for the education requirement.§          Minimum (3) three years of experience with operations or maintenance in an industrial facility.§          Advanced written and verbal communication skills.§          Advanced experience providing guidance to peers, staff and supervisors.
Preferences:§          Five (5) years of experience with facility operations or maintenance in an industrial and/or office facilities..§          Experience facilitating activities of groups in different reporting structures.§          TAPS operations, maintenance, or projects experience.§          Supervisory experience and responsibilities.§          Knowledge of and extensive experience in the maintenance workflow processes
Accountabilities and Specific Requirements: Under general direction of the Transportation & Facilities Manager the Facility Lead is accountable for the following:  §          This position is accountable for all aspects of the management, maintenance, and emergency response program for all urban office facilities located in Fairbanks, Valdez, and Anchorage;§          Management of the cafeterias, pump station catering, housing, and camps. §          Develop and implement the Strategic Facilities Plan (SFP).  The SFP will include recommended efficiencies for each urban office location for the next 10 years.§          Develops and executes business strategies, develops and implements programs, and resolves facility issues with broad organizational impacts. §          Implements the Facility Sector Strategy and manages the facility program to ensure compliance with the guidelines. §          Contract representative for the Fairbanks and Valdez urban office leases, management maintain & catering services (mid to high level facility contracts) w/ annual spend of ~$10M. §          Manages planning, funding & execution of urban facility projects in coordination with Project personnel;§          Accountable to manage the facilities budget with involvement in the long range planning & forecasting; supervises the Facility Coordinator and is part of the Fairbanks Incident Management Team.§          Using business acumen, this job has the accountability to exercise independent judgment to compare & evaluate different courses of action to achieve predetermined goals & performance levels.§          Responsible for making significant decisions related to the ongoing course of business including those with financial impact. May deviate from established policy/practice as provided by Alyeska policy.§          Represents the company in handling of concerns and resolution of other complaints/disputes related to the pertinent contracts stewarded.
