The Regional Program Coordinator oversees and coordinates the development of facility to ensure activities are in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets. Responsible for assisting with management of the contract; regularly reviews program status and plan future actions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Coordinates the efforts of various entities, as required, to ensure that the project is conducted in accordance with the requirements. Interfaces with the project team on schedules, meetings, and problems. Keeps the project team informed on the project status. 2.Advises management of the program status and problems (or potential problems) on a regular basis. 3.Manage the schedules of the various meetings that relate to the project and keeps the project team informed. 4.Facilitates and coordinates schedules and meetings for the Partners. Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plans for alternative actions. 6.Oversees and executes the development efforts of the contract. SPECIAL DEMANDS: 1.Considerable flexibility of methods required to meet project goals. 2.Considerable planning is required; Good communication and organization skills; Ability to deal with demanding situations and personalities. 3.Understand the research and planning, public process functions are essential to ensure that project schedules and objectives are met. 4.Requires both administrative and technical knowledge and frequent interaction with a variety of people and groups. 5Familiarity with a variety of funding sources and their processes, including state and federal. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1.Must be US citizen 2.21 years of age 3.Valid state driver’s license 1.Bachelors degree preferred. 2.At least five (5) years' related experience. 3.Prior military and/or law enforcement administrative and supervisory experience required.
